Polar Express Day and Christmas Breakfast

Polar Express Day was so much fun!  I'm not not sure if my favorite part was when Mr. McEvoy came in and punched our tickets as we "boarded" the train or if it was finding bells under our desks.  There was also a special delivery right from the North Pole that was very special.  We also had a yummy breakfast and exchanged gifts.  Lastly, we did Polar Express rotations where made trains and ice cream cone Christmas trees.  What a wonderful day!

Thankgiving in Room 2

What a fun week of learning we had in Room 2!  We started off our week by making turkey apples with our fifth grade buddies.  On Thursday, we made pumpkin bread and turkey soup.  Then on Friday, we did pilgrim and Wampanoag Indian rotations. We made clay pots, Indian pouches, punch tin art, and cranberry and popcorn chains.  Finally, we got to enjoy our pumpkin bread and turkey soup!
